In Ontario, complete the LLQP course and exam before applying for a life and accident & sickness insurance licence through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA).
Exam eligibility
FSRA says the LLQP course is a prerequisite to the exam and must be administered through an approved course provider. Keep your course-completion documentation for exam registration and licensing.
Provincial notes
For a new Ontario licence, FSRA lists a sponsoring insurer for the first two years, a first LLQP exam pass date within one year of applying, and appropriate errors-and-omissions insurance among the requirements. Check the official application checklist before applying.

The Life module has 35 questions, including 5 unscored pilot questions, with 75 minutes allotted. Confirm current delivery and registration rules with the regulator.
